As a medic, as a healer, as a medical professional, someone who spends their life working on the frontlines of everyone else's personal trauma, personal war, personal fight; we really aren't the warriors. We are the corpsman. BUT if you look at military structure the corpsman IS a badass warrior. You have to be but you are also protected if you are doing the work. When you show up every day and put yourself in harm's way whether it's from someone else's emotional outbursts, physical danger, or you know, the enemies of my enemy situations. You can make some enemies when you are helping people too. If this describes you and your work, listen: perhaps you’ll hear the call of The Morrigan.
‘Macha and the Medic’ is the story of a NYC*EMT and her developing relationship with the Irish Goddess, Macha (pronounced: MAKH-uh) who is one of the three daughters of Ernmas known as The Morrigan. A goddess of sovereignty, war, and death. She is a powerful ally when fighting on the battlefield known as life as well as in search for personal strength, inner healing, and peace.
